  • Hasanat Dewan, PhD

    Chief Executive Officer

    Hasanat has led technology innovation at global fintechs for more than 28 years.

    He held C-level roles at E*TRADE, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, BNY Mellon, and Russell Investments Group. At Morgan Stanley, he led the development of the global real-time trading system.

    Hasanat received a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia, and a BA Magna Cum Laude in Computer Science and Physics from Brandeis.

    He is a Wien Scholar and a Trustee of St. Thomas Aquinas College.

  • Lloyd Sher

    Head of Operations

    Lloyd has over 25 years of experience in developing and managing enterprise-scale, mission-critical business solutions at global financial institutions,  SWFs, and startups​.

    He has built and led high-performance teams around the world. His technical innovations have benefited many companies including JPMChase, Deutsche Bank, BofA/Merrill Lynch, and Bank of New York​.

    Lloyd was previously a founding co-CTO of Mubadala BMS.

  • Mark Hughes, PhD

    AI/ML Product Lead

    Mark is an experienced ML and Vision expert with a 20-year track record of building novel ML platforms for the media and security industries and turning cutting-edge technologies into products.

    He was Director of Artificial Intelligence at a healthcare major, a senior scientist at IBM Watson and at Fuji Xerox. He also served as Chief Scientist in a key US Department of Defense AI initiative.

    Mark holds a PhD in Machine Learning.

  • Edward Barker

    AI/ML Product Lead

    Edward has 10+ years of experience as a Senior Data Scientist, designing and delivering end-to-end AI products in fintech, insurance, and government.

    He has published widely in academic and practitioner publications such as JMLR, RLDM, and presented in leading AI and ML forums on Reinforcement Learning.

    Edward holds a master’s degree in Mathematics and is completing a PhD in Reinforcement Learning at The University of Melbourne.
